I have always perceived the world through two simultaneous dimensions—matter and energy—each inseparable from the other. Every object I encounter exists for me in dual form: as a tangible presence and as an invisible field.
In this piece, I depicted the stones of the garden as if suspended in zero gravity, their weight dissolved, revealing instead their celestial essence. Through this suspension, the stones shift from earthly fragments into cosmic bodies, evoking both the quiet permanence of the garden and the infinite expanse of the universe.
林は常に、二つ以上の次元を同時に通して世界を知覚している。それは物質とエネルギーという、互いに結びつき、切り離すことのできない二つの層である。彼女にとってあらゆる事物は、触れることのできる形態と、目に見えない場という二重の相をもって存在している。
本作において林は、庭園の石を重力から解放された存在として描く。重さは消え、その代わりに星のような本質だけが浮かび上がる。この「宙づり」の状態を通して、石はもはや大地の断片ではなく、宇宙の天体へと変容する。そこには、庭園の静けさと持続性、そして宇宙の無限の広がりが同時に呼び起こされている。
