This work emerged from the shifting images I perceive when closing my eyes—shapes that hover between abstraction and memory.
The composition is built on a dialogue between silver and gold. Along the left edge, silver unfurls with a sudden intensity, evoking a force that breaks silence and gestures toward renewal. Within it, gold appears not as ornament but as counterpart: steady, directional, and quietly resilient.
The moon, placed as a recurring presence, embodies cycles of return. It suggests regeneration, an endless reservoir of rhythm and light.
What unfolds is not a hierarchy of strength but a shifting equilibrium. Through the equal weight of silver and gold, the painting seeks to capture a tenuous balance—an image of opposing yet interdependent forces, suspended in continuous exchange.
本作は、林が目を閉じたときに浮かび上がる変化するイメージ「抽象と記憶のあいだを行き来する形態」を起点としている。
画面構成は、銀と金の対話によって成り立っている。左側に広がる銀色は、静けさを破り、新たな始まりを示唆する力を帯びている。一方、その内側に現れる金は装飾ではなく、対位として存在し、安定と方向性、そして内に秘めた強さを示している。
繰り返し現れる月のモチーフは、循環と回帰を象徴する。それは再生を暗示し、尽きることのないリズムと光の源として画面に作用している。
本作が提示するのは、力の優劣ではなく、絶えず移ろう均衡である。銀と金の並置と応答を通して、対立しながらも相互に依存する二つの力が、流動のなかで釣り合いを保つ、その微妙な状態が描き出されている。
